This is my first upload here, as I haven't been a DM for many sessions yet (about 15?) and this is the second time i'm trying to run lost mines of phandelver, although this time I chose to combine it with dragon of Icespire peak. WebI'd recommend running Lost Mines and then jumping into Icespire Peak if your players are enjoying their characters and they wanna keep going. Running them both at the same time is probably gonna make them feel like they're missing a lot of stuff while they pursue one thread, which could be a cool feeling - or it could be really frustrating.
