Push it forward and you can feel the spring tension of governor just to check and then let it position it's self with any play taken up by lightly pressing it forward. Should be plenty of length unless some one has messed it up or governor is really sloppy. WebJul 25, 2016 · From the brief descriptions of the problem, it could be that the linkage from the governor to the carburetor doesn't close the throttle when the governor tries to get it to the "no fuel" position.
